At Kellogg Conference Hotel Capitol Hill, fancy awards and professional reviews are nice, but it's really all about what our guests think. We pay close attention to their feedback and use it to make our hotel even better. So, as you're getting ready for your next trip to Washington, DC, why not check out what your fellow travelers have to say about us?
Recently visited (again!) the wonderful Kellogg Conference Hotel at Gallaudet University. Must admit I am reluctantly writing this as it is a hidden gem I would like to keep all to myself, but...if you are looking for a unique accommodation experience in a hip and accessible area, this is it. On the campus of Gallaudet University, the hotel offers a boutique experience in an academic setting. That Gallaudet is a university for the deaf makes the experience that much more interesting. Union Market is directly across the street and the NoMa/Gallaudet Metro stop is a ten-minute walk. Friendly staff, a restaurant on the premises and reasonable prices make this a GREAT alternative to the more numerous and blander accommodation offerings in this price category.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kellogg Conference Hotel! The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time there. The service truly stood out—everyone was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming.
One of the most unique and memorable aspects of our stay was the exposure to American Sign Language throughout the property as the hotel is located in the Gallaudet campus for deaf and hard of hearing. It added such a meaningful and inclusive touch to the experience.
We stayed on the suite level, which came with excellent perks, including a delicious breakfast and access to the executive lounge—fully stocked with great snacks and treats throughout the day.
Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend for both comfort and thoughtful hospitality!Reviewed by Eric on March 2026 via TripAdvisor
Great hotel, Great staff, Great location, Great price, Great atmosphere. I have stayed here multiple times and every single time it is wonderful. It's a peaceful place with clean rooms and a pretty good breakfast downstairs. The Union Market is right across the street which has anything you could possibly want to eat. I will be back.

This is my second visit to the Kellogg and it just keeps getting better.
The setting itself is amazing. Right in the middle of Galluadet University, the hotel is a seamless addition to the beautiful architecture of the campus. Inside is clean and contemporary yet warm and welcoming. It is perfect for more intimate conference settings as the layout maximizes space and prioritizes accessibility.
As for comfort, it is a well-kept DC secret. From the variety of pillows to crisp clean sheets that drain your worries, the beds are restorative. You would think you are paying three times the price.
Now for the best part. The staff. They endeavor toward language justice and many know or are learning American Sign Language. The welcome desk has the alphabet depicted in ASL. This approach to inclusion naturally lends itself to excellent customer service in all other areas. For example, when I had an awkward situation with Instacart, Qais R. helped make me feel validated and then he fixed Instacart's mistake. It was so little and yet so big. I get nervous cravings at all hours during the night when traveling and Robert W. went out of his way to make sure I had access to snicky-snacks. The Kellogg sees guests as whole people, not just rooms booked. I felt so welcome.
I look forward to staying again soon. Tell everyone about this place or, rather, don't. Just teasing. These amazing people make an amazing building into an experience.Reviewed by Sarah on April 2026 via TripAdvisor
This is my second year working with the Kellogg Conference Hotel and I can't wait for our third year! This location is a hidden gem - from the location, to the staff, to the food, everything is top notch. I truly believe that they have the secret sauce. It was a treat to come back to this venue and see more than half of the original staff from our first year. When I say they make you feel at home, get ready to kick your shoes off. They are so flexible - willing to make things happen even at the last minute and incredibly kind with every request. It feels great to work with an entire group of genuine people to execute a successful effort. From the start in sales, Logan made it a breeze to draft a contract, then she introduced me to hotel personnel, Emoni and Matt, who laid out the red carpet for our entire group even with the hiccups we had. During our event, the catering staff led by the amazing Duane was attentive and sweet along with Lorgio who catered to our team during after-event fun. The new chef, Andrew, along with his sous-chef, Patrick, created a menu that our group is still talking about (not kidding). I said this last year and I will say it again, this staff is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Trust me when I say - host your next event here and see what I am talking about.
